Breaking news: Texans cut ties with three talented star

Following an outstanding performance during the 2023 NFL regular season and playoffs, the Houston Texans have emerged as one of the greatest all-around teams in the AFC, with many feeling they will be a viable Super Bowl championship challenger sooner rather than later.

The Texans, aware that they may be in a championship window, particularly with star quarterback C.J. Stroud proving to be the real thing under center last year, have gone all out to enhance their squad on both sides of the ball.

The franchise was desperate to capitalize on what might be a title-winning group, which culminated in the acquisition of superstar wide receiver Stefon Diggs and one of the finest pass rushers in the league, Danielle Hunter.

With Houston obviously going all out to be a contender in the 2024 NFL season, the organization has had to trim some fat from its squad.

According to ProFootballTalk, the Texans have released wide receiver Alex Bachman, defensive end Myjai Sanders, and defensive back Josh Thompson.

The Texans aren’t playing about and aren’t spending time on guys who won’t help them reach where they want to go next season, so they’ve cleared some space and appear ready for what could be an entertaining 2024 NFL Draft on April 25.

It will be intriguing to watch whether the Texans’ actions during this NFL offseason pay off and if this club can actually be a contender in the AFC next season.
