The report outlines how much Tottenham will have to pay to sign Eberechi Eze.
Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise of Crystal Palace are sought-after targets for the summer transfer window, with Tottenham Hotspur particularly interested in the former. Palace are expected to demand at least £60 million for each player.
Tottenham have long been connected with Eze, who has continued to shine for Crystal Palace this season.
Ange Postecoglou is reported to have identified the 25-year-old as a player he wants to add to his squad this summer (Independent).
With eight goals and five assists for the Eagles this season, it’s no surprise that a number of clubs want to sign a player like Eze.
Manchester City are also interested, although Spurs are said to have an advantage over their rivals because Eze prefers to stay in London (football transfers).
However, signing Eze will not be easy or inexpensive. According to Tottenham Hotspur News, the winger’s salary alone might cost up to £30 million to any team interested in signing him.
Eberechi Eze’s price tag revealed
A BBC investigation has revealed how much Crystal Palace would willing to pay to let rid of its prize asset, with both Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise valued at £60 million.
Palace is said to “only entertain offers” for both players that “start at £60 million.” The good news for Palace fans is that the club does not need to sell either player this summer.
Despite their unwillingness to sell, Palace “accepts that bids are highly likely to come.” However, it is expected that “any deal will be complex,” with multiple terms coming into play.
Eze is reported to be “happy” at Palace and would want to ensure that any move would allow him to continue displaying his “attacking flair.”
