Breaking: Jaguars Agree Deal To Sign $7.4 Million OL as Undrafted Free Agent
• You can check all the undrafted free agents the Jaguars will or have signed after the 2024 NFL Draft.
The Jacksonville Jaguars emerged from the 2024 NFL Draft with a good roster. They were able to meet all of their needs and add depth along the way. However, there is still work to be done, since it is now time to begin signing athletes who did not have their names called in the draft.
Undrafted free agents, unlike those picked in rounds 1-7, have the freedom to sign with any team and are often sought after the draft. Clubs begin making calls in the middle of the seventh round, therefore many players are signed just moments after the draft ends.
Last year, Jacksonville signed ten such guys. Among the group, wide receiver Elijah Cooks made the initial 53-man roster to begin the season.
With that in mind, here’s a list of the undrafted free agents the Jaguars plan to sign in the next hours and days.

The Jaguars have signed Oregon offensive lineman Steven Jones as an undrafted free agent, according to his agent, Shawn Lauval. He allowed no sacks in 2023 and only seven total pressures on 420 pass-blocking snaps.
Appalachian State linebacker Andrew Parker will also sign with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent, according to Justin Melo of The Draft Network. Parker, a native of Louisiana, played 24 games for the Mountaineers, including 24 starts. He had 114 tackles and two sacks last season.
Brevin Easton, an Albany wide receiver, is signing with the Jaguars, according to NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero. He had 57 receptions for 1,086 yards and 13 touchdowns last season. He ran a 4.5-second 40-yard sprint at the Syracuse Pro Day.
Villanova running back Jalen Jackson is also signing with the Jaguars, according to Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston. Jackosn toted the rock 132 times for 981 yards with nine touchdowns in 2023.
Wayne Ruby, a Mount-Union wide receiver, revealed on Twitter that he will join with the Jaguars. Ruby made the Division III All-America First Team in 2023. He has reached 1,000 yards in each of the last three seasons. He had 75 receptions for 1,124 yards and 15 touchdowns last season.
According to NFL Draft Diamonds, West Carolina wide receiver David White has agreed to join the Jaguars. White caught 34 passes for 519 yards and six touchdowns for the Catamounts in 2023. Throughout his tenure at Valdosta State and Western Carolina University, he has 94 receptions for 1,442 yards and 19 touchdowns.
Lorenzo Lingard, an Akron running back, has signed with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Media. He started his college career at Miami. He moved to Florida and eventually ended up at Akron. Last season, he had 143 carries for 641 yards and four touchdowns.
Safety Josh Proctor is signing with the Jaguars, according to various sources. Aaron Wilson later revealed that he received a $15,000 signing bonus, with $200,000 guaranteed. Dane Brugler of The Athletic gave the former Ohio State Buckeye a fifth-round grade.
Proctor has lost time with injuries over the past six seasons. Perhaps it is why he slid. Last year, he had 47 total tackles, four for a loss, and had one interception.
UTSA wide receiver Josh Cephus is signing with the Jags as an UDFA, per Ryan Fowler of The Draft Network. Cephus caught 89 receptions for 1,151 yards with 10 touchdowns last year. He also had just one drop.
