Here We Go: 25-year-old Ace undergoing Hearts medical today after deal agreed
According to Football Insider, Yan Dhanda will undergo a medical at Hearts on Wednesday before joining the Scottish Premiership team on a free transfer.
The Jambos and Dhanda have already reached a comprehensive deal, with the latter leaving Ross County at the end of the 2023-24 season.
The 25-year-old midfielder had been with the Staggies since 2022 and was a regular before deciding to leave this summer.
Providing his physical goes as planned today, Dhanda should be a Hearts player by the end of the week, allowing him to begin pre-season.
Yan Dhanda brings experience to Hearts
The Englishman brings a plethora of experience to the Jambos, having progressed through Liverpool’s junior system before joining Swansea City.
Dhanda made 63 appearances for the Welsh club before moving to the Scottish Premiership, where he has played an important role for Ross County.
His absence will leave a significant void in the heart of the Staggies’ midfield, having played 79 games for the club during his two-year stint at the Global Energy Stadium.
During that period, he has 12 goals and 18 assists, demonstrating the attacking abilities he will bring to Hearts.
While Hearts are looking to strengthen the squad, they could end up losing last season’s top goal scorer as Rangers have an interest in Lawrence Shankland.
Football Insider revealed that he’s an option for the Gers, and Hearts would struggle to turn down a “really big” offer for the Scottish international.
