Donald Trump confirms’major interview’ with Elon Musk: Here’s what to know.
Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump said on Monday that he will meet with one of his newest supporters, Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
“ON MONDAY NIGHT I’LL BE DOING A MAJOR INTERVIEW WITH ELON MUSK — Details to follow!” Trump posted on his Truth Social platform on Tuesday.
Musk has not yet responded on the interview on his platform X, which was previously known as Twitter. Trump was barred from Twitter in January 2021, during his final days in office. Trump’s X account was reinstalled on the site the following year, after Musk’s takeover was complete.
The interview comes as the former president seeks a comeback to the White House, running against Vice President Kamala Harris, who introduced Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her campaign mate on Tuesday.
On Monday, Trump spoke with Adin Ross, a video game streamer, for 22 minutes. During the video, Ross handed Trump a Rolex watch and a Cybertruck wrapped in a photo of him from the July 13 assassination attempt.

On Monday, August 12, GOP presidential contender Donald Trump will have a one-on-one discussion with X owner Elon Musk.
Additional information on the time and location of the chat has yet to be released.
Musk wholeheartedly endorses Trump following the rally shooting.
Following the attempted murder of Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, Musk announced his full support for the president last month.
On July 13, Musk posted on X, “I fully endorse President Trump and hope for his rapid recovery,” while uploading a video of the moment a gunshot impacted his right ear.
Musk has stated that he has supported for Democratic politicians, including President Joe Biden, in the past three election cycles. In recent years, the internet billionaire has expressed his dissatisfaction with Democratic policies such as Biden’s unending support for labor unions and his immigration and border policies.
Earlier this year, Musk promised not to give to either Trump’s or Biden’s campaigns.
“Just to be super clear, I am not donating money to either candidate for US President,” he wrote on Thursday, March 6.
