Sad announcement: Cleveland Wide receiver agree to leave the team immediately

Amari Cooper’s Surprising Response to Trade Rumors
The Cleveland Browns have enjoyed a relatively calm offseason, with minimal turmoil surrounding a club aiming for a long playoff run in 2024.

That may have changed with a recent Instagram post by talented top receiver Cooper.
After speculations arose that the Browns have a deal in place to send Cooper to San Francisco in exchange for Brandon Aiyuk, the 30-year-old receiver shared a tale on his Instagram page that appears to corroborate his desire to leave the Browns.
Cleveland published a screenshot of Cooper’s reaction on Twitter, with the caption “lol I wouldn’t mind at all,” implying that the 6-foot-1 Pro Bowler might be open to a trade.

Cooper first declined to attend the veteran obligatory minicamp in June, citing a desire for an adjusted contract as he enters the last season of his five-year, $100 million deal.

Before preseason training camp began, Cleveland agreed to his demands, guaranteeing the majority of his compensation for this season while including up to $5 million in incentives in the new contract.

Cooper remained quiet during the Aiyuk trade speculations, and the organization has not officially stated their interest in the San Francisco receiver.

Aiyuk concluded the 2023 season with 75 catches for 1,342 yards and seven touchdowns, which is similar to Cooper’s 72 catches for 1,250 yards (a career high) and five touchdowns.

The late-night sources stated the Browns are now giving Aiyuk a bigger compensation package to lure the receiver to sign a new deal and come to Cleveland.
