Sad report: Bruce Springsteen collapse after DNA shows he his not the father of one of his children

Bruce Springsteen unintentionally made his Amsterdam show one fans won't soon forget after he took a major tumble on stage. The I'm On Fire singer, 73, drew gasps from fans as he tripped and fell after climbing several steps on the stage on Saturday. Fans watched The Boss roll onto his back and lay on the floor with his guitar still in hand before his concerned colleagues promptly rushed over to assist him. His guitarist stepped in to remove his instrument while two concert workers manually hoisted Bruce back onto his feet. Fortunately, the fall didn't shake Bruce up too much.

Bruce Springsteen’s three children: Evan, Jessica, and Samuel

Bruce Springsteen has two kids and one daughter with his wife, Patti Scialfa.
Though fans know him as The Boss, Bruce Springsteen’s children simply call him Dad.

The Grammy winner has three children with his wife, fellow E Street Band member Patti Scialfa: Evan, 34, Jessica, 32, and Samuel, 30.

Despite his numerous awards, the Born to Run singer admits his children are unfamiliar with his music.

“We had our children late; I was 40 when our first son was born, and they showed a healthy disinterest in our work throughout the years,” he told the New York Times in 2017.

“They each had their own musical idols and songs that they enjoyed. They’d look quite blank if someone suggested one of my song titles.”

In November 2022, he expressed similar feelings on The Graham Norton Show, saying, “Now they have almost no interest in music or that area of my life…. But as I constantly say, ‘They don’t need a hero, they need a father.'”

Springsteen has also stated that his children have not read his best-selling memoir, but their lack of fandom does not bother him.

“I know none of my children have read the book, but I hope they will sometime.

I kind of appreciate it,” he added, adding, “I’ve always thought that meant we did a good job.”
