Paul Lee, a fellow NHRA Funny Car driver, was not involved in the same crash as John Force. However, he did benefit from the circumstances surrounding Force’s accident.
After John Force’s crash, his team, John Force Racing, needed a replacement driver for the Pep Boys NHRA Funny Car All-Star Callout event. Paul Lee, who drives for the McLeod Racing team, was selected to fill the seat in the John Force Racing car.
Lee took advantage of the opportunity, making a strong showing in the event. He demonstrated his skills and adaptability by performing well in a new car with a different team.
The NHRA community was relieved to see Paul Lee perform well under challenging circumstances, and John Force Racing appreciated his contributions during a difficult time.
