The Western Bulldogs are the latest team to express interest in signing GWS midfielder James Peatling.

Peatling is being pursued by four teams, with St Kilda, Melbourne, West Coast, and Collingwood all expressing strong interest in the 24-year-old.

According to Channel 7’s Mitch Cleary, the Bulldogs have indicated a wish to attract him to the Kennel.
“Not many footy fans would’ve heard of a couple weeks ago is James Peatling,” according to Cleary.

“He had a pretty great last six weeks of the season.

“Out of contract and has agreed to stay with the Giants.

“A number of Victorian teams have lined up for him. I hear the Dogs are the most recent club to express interest in James Peatling.

“He will be another name to keep an eye on.”

GWS coach Adam Kingsley spoke to Channel 7’s Talkin Footy about Peatling, Isaac Cumming, and Harry Perryman potentially leaving the club.

“Yeah, I am (confident they will stay),” Kingsley added.
“All three are critical to how we’re playing right now, and we’re sure that we’ll be able to keep them all.

“They’ve had some pretty strong seasons.

“They are very important to us.”
