FSU Board send three word message to Mike Norvell that make him Announce these changes

FSU BOARD SENDS STRONG MESSAGE TO NORVELL, PROMPTING COACHING STAFF SHAKEUP

In a surprise move, the Florida State University Board of Trustees sent a three-word message to head football coach Mike Norvell: “Win Now Expectations.”

The blunt directive reportedly led to an emergency meeting between Norvell and his coaching staff, resulting in significant changes to the team’s leadership structure.

Effective immediately, the following changes have been announced:

• Offensive Coordinator Alex Atkins promoted to Assistant Head Coach
• Defensive Coordinator Adam Fuller reassigned to defensive analyst role
• Special Teams Coordinator John Papuchis relieved of duties

Norvell stated, “The message from the Board was clear: we must elevate our performance and meet the high expectations of our university and fans. These changes are necessary to ensure our program’s success.”

The moves come after a disappointing 2023 season, which saw the Seminoles finish 6-6 overall and 3-5 in ACC play.

Stay tuned for further updates on FSU football and the impact of these coaching changes.
