Breaking: Bulldogs now top suitors to land 6-foot-3 OL after offer
Georgia is recruiting the in-state offensive lineman to be part of the 2025 recruiting class. Glover is down to four schools: Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Florida State.
The season for scheduled commitment dates is quickly approaching.Georgia has many top targets who will make college decisions in late June and July.
One important date on the horizon is July 1.
Dontrell Glover, an offensive lineman from Langston Hughes (Ga.), intends to end his recruiting pursuit. Glover has already made three visits to Georgia, South Carolina, and Tennessee. The final scheduled visit is at Florida State this weekend. From there, Glover will be able to make a selection.
Glover has a week and a half since his formal visit to Georgia to think on the experience.
“I don’t think the Georgia visit was too much for me. “It was really for my parents to see,” Glover told Dawgs247. “At the end of the day, they’re huge Georgia fans, so I wanted them to go down there and experience what it’s like to be around the coaches. They liked it. That was a significant influence in the recruitment process.”
Dontrell Glover, a four-star offensive lineman, is expected to commit to the Georgia Bulldogs football team. The prediction comes just a few days after Glover made an official visit to the University of Georgia.
Langston Hughes High School in Fairburn, Georgia, is where the class of 2025 recruit plays football. Glover initially committed to Alabama before leaving after Nick Saban’s retirement.
Glover’s last four schools are Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Florida State. Georgia appears to have taken the lead in the search for the top offensive line prospect.
The 6-foot-3, 310-pound offensive tackle matches the profile of what Kirby Smart and his staff are looking for in the trenches. Glover is regarded as the No. 16 interior offensive lineman, the No. 34 player in Georgia, and the No. 285 player in the 2025 cycle, according to 247 Sports.
Kirby Smart remains a force in recruitment. Georgia is now one of the top recruiting programs in the country, having just received four pledges for the 2025 class.
Georgia has consistently produced NFL draft picks along the offensive front during Smart’s time in Athens. Georgia is showing no sign of slowing.
