Breaking news: Birmingham city accept bid for formal championship star

Birmingham City ‘accept bid’ for former Huddersfield Town and Rangers player, with shock transfer speculated
Birmingham City has allegedly accepted an offer from Turkish club Sivasspor for former Huddersfield Town midfielder Juninho Bacuna.
Bacuna, a regular face in West Yorkshire, spent three years with Huddersfield, where he scored 12 goals in 107 games. He left for Rangers in 2021 before returning to England a year later to sign with Birmingham.

However, it appears he may be up for a new challenge in Turkey. According to Birmingham Live, the Blues have accepted a proposal from Sivasspor for the midfielder, and Bacuna has been given permission to negotiate a move.

He will apparently miss Birmingham’s pre-season tour to Austria, as his time at St Andrew’s appears to be coming to an end. Interestingly, Birmingham has already traded a former Huddersfield midfielder to Sivasspor this summer.

Alex Pritchard has already moved to the Turkish top division and may soon be joined by a former Terriers teammate. The two had identical timetables at the John Smith’s Stadium, entering in 2018 and departing in 2021.

At Pritchard’s unveiling, the club’s vice-president, Bahattin Eken, stated: “As Sivasspor, we are working to be successful in the league.” By bringing in excellent players like Alex Pritchard, we are taking a significant step toward accomplishing these objectives.”
