Announcement: Front Row Motorsports Signs 24-Year-Old Driver To Bumper Contract
Todd Gilliland has agreed to a multi-year contract agreement to continue driving for Front Row Motorsports.
According to the organization, Gilliland has continuously improved his performance in the NASCAR Cup Series each season and has only recently began to demonstrate his great potential at NASCAR’s highest levels. This season, Gilliland has led 101 laps, a career high.
“Todd and his family have been with my family and the team for a very long time,” Morristown businessman and FRM owner Bob Jenkins said in a release. “We’ve watched him grow, mature, and show all his potential behind our truck and car. It’s now his time to lead us into our next phase of winning races and being a consistent playoff contender.”
Front Row is looking to ensure its drivers line-up for 2025, when it will expand to three teams. Gilliland is the only driver signed beyond the end of this season. His current teammate Michael McDowell announced last month that he will be moving to Spire Motorsports in 2025.
“I want to be at Front Row Motorsports, and I want to be a part of what’s happening right now,” Gilliland told reporters. “Now is the moment to join as a partner or fan and follow our next chapter. It’s extremely wonderful to see it all come together, and I have to applaud Bob Jenkins and Jerry Freeze for their dedication to making us a consistent winning and playoff franchise. It’s never easy, but I’m confident in our direction. “I’m excited to see what the future holds.”
