Kevin Stefanski announce signing that will end this three-game losing streak

Browns make seven roster moves on Saturday.

The Cleveland Browns face the Philadelphia Eagles in NFL Week 6, and in order to win again, Cleveland must find a way to get its offense working and, more importantly, get healthy.

Given the number of injuries, the squad has made a few roster changes and is still putting things together on both sides of the ball.
According to ESPN’s Daniel Oyefusi, the Browns have activated linebacker Mohamoud Diabate and defensive lineman Mike Hall Jr.

With Maurice Hurst II on defense, offensive tackle James Hudson III was placed on injured reserve with a shoulder injury, wide receiver James Proche II was released, and safety Chris Edmonds and wide receiver Jaelon Darden were promoted from the practice squad.
Diabate, Hurst, and Hall will bring depth to the front seven and give the defense more people to hurl at Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, who struggles to pass against the blitz and may suffer again if the Browns devise the correct defensive strategy.

The secondary has been a concern on defense, with starting safety Grant Delpit and Ronnie Hickman out, and cornerback Denzel Ward uncertain due to a hamstring injury.

Hudson’s placement on IR coincides with the return of Jedrick Wills Jr. and the much-anticipated 2024 debut of right tackle Jack Conklin, who hasn’t played since injuring his ACL in Week 1 last season.

There’s a lot of positive news for the Browns here, and perhaps it’ll be enough to break their three-game losing run.
