The wide receiver room at Virginia Tech is one that is going to go through a transition in 2025 after losing their top-four receivers this season. They picked up a commitment from Tennessee transfer Cameron Seldon out of the transfer portal and Friday night, Wake Forest transfer Donavon Greeneits.
On Saturday afternoon, the Hokies picked up a big commitment in the Class of 2025 during the fourth quarter of the Navy All-American Bowl at the Alamo Dome in San Antonio.

Three-star athlete Cameron Sparks from Chattanooga, TN, picked Virginia Tech over Arkansas and Mississippi State. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound Sparks will come to Blacksburg as a wide receiver. According to 247Sports, he’s the 60th-ranked athlete in the Class of 2025 and the 22nd-ranked player in Tennessee. Their 247Sports Composite Ranking has him as the 18th-ranked athlete and 12th-ranked player in Tennessee.
