Former NFL Player Calls Out Executives For Philadelphia Eagles Quarterback Jalen Hurts Being Ranked Too Low.

Former NFL wide receiver James Jones was on The Facility on Monday morning on FS1. He was talking about the Top 10 quarterback rankings entering the 2025 NFL season that espn.com released after talking to NFL executives and other people across the league. Well, the Eagles quarterback is ranked ninth on the list.
Hurts was ranked below Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert. Herbert was ranked at number seven and Jones had a major problem with this. He said,
“There should never be a list where Herbert is in front of him.”
Hurts completed 68.7% of his throws for 2,903 yards, 18 touchdowns, and five interceptions in the 2024 NFL season. In addition, he averaged 4.2 yards per carry and ran for 630 yards on 150 carries and 14 touchdowns. Due to a concussion, Hurts did miss the last two games of the regular season.
Herbert’s stats include 3,870 yards, 23 touchdowns, and three interceptions on 65.9% of his passes. In addition, Herbert averaged 4.4 yards per run and ran for 306 yards on 69 carries, including two touchdowns. Last season, Hurts ranked 20th in passing yards. In terms of throwing yards, Herbert ranked 12th in the NFL.
