Thomas Castellanos, the quarterback for Florida State, made news this offseason for his disparaging remarks prior to the team’s first game against Alabama. Regarding his team’s prospects versus the Crimson Tide, the transfer quarterback has been outspoken.
In a recent conversation with Alabama wide receiver Isaiah Horton, he mentioned his arrogance. One issue existed. Horton was unaware of Castellanos’ identity!
The 2025 season begins in Tallahassee with the Seminoles and Tide. Both initiatives are recovering after campaigns that were largely unsatisfactory.

Prior to the opener, the signal caller made a special effort to supply bulletin board content. He declared, “[Alabama doesn’t] have Nick Saban to save them.” “I simply don’t see them preventing me.”
Castellanos threw for over 3,600 yards and 19 touchdowns in 22 games while playing for Boston College. In the middle of 2024, he lost his starting position, which he attributed to old teammates and coaches.
“Early in the season, Bill O’Brien and I had a falling out. I was injured in a couple of games. It kind of blew up in my face during our meeting. I put a lot of effort into that initiative, but I wasn’t properly compensated.”

According to Thomas Castellanos, his disregard for Alabama was an act of leadership. It was obvious that several of his Crimson Tide opponents didn’t agree. Meanwhile, Isaiah Horton appeared to be unaware of everything.
The wide receiver dismissed the criticism and intends to let his performance speak for itself in Week 1.
