In a recent podcast, a well-known New York Jets fan had a brutally candid discussion about abortion that provoked social media fury this week. Known for being a bit of a provocateur, English singer Lily Allen has called for the outlawing of soccer.
Allen acknowledged that she had so many abortions that she couldn’t remember the exact number during a segment of her podcast, “Miss Me?” about the need for more discussion about contraception.
“I would constantly become pregnant,” Allen remarked. I’ve had a couple abortions, but I can’t recall how many I had. I would want to say four or five, maybe.Allen is not an isolated instance. Miquita Oliver, her co-host, stated that she had had a comparable number of abortions.
“Lily, I’m so happy I can say that and you can say it and no one came to shoot us down, no judgment,” Oliver said. “We’ve had about the same amount of abortions.”
Lily Allen’s comments face backlash online
Social media users, including some NFL fans, were outraged by the contentious remarks.

“Awful. Another person wrote, “She will be held accountable because God knows every soul.”
“She is a monster.” It is imperative that we restore shame. A banner claimed, “These fake celebrities are destroying morals for young people everywhere.”
